Talk title: Experimental dark matter search at China Jinping underground laboratory
Abstract:The nature of dark matter is one of the greatest mysteries in modern physics and astronomy. A wide variety of experiments have been carried out worldwide to search for the evidence of dark matter particles. The China Jinping Underground Laboratory (CJPL), with a 2400-m rock overburden, is the deepest underground laboratory in the world, an ideal location to carry out dark matter direct detection experiments. In this talk, I will present an overview of the CDEX and PandaX experiments in CJPL, and discuss their recent results as well as future plans.
